After conducting business for the last 12 months from Hidden Springs Ranch in Gainesville, TX, Bud Lyon Performance Horses has officially relocated to it’s own facility in Tioga, TX. The full service enterprise will continue to offer training, showing and sales of reining horses and accepts non-pro riders of all ages and skill levels.

Located in the “Heart of Horse Country,” Bud Lyon Performance Horses is now operating from the same neighborhood as prestigious NRHA Million Dollar Riders Tim McQuay and Dell Hendricks. “This may be the closest I ever get to being mentioned in the same breath as those guys,” Lyon laughs, “but you can bet I’m going to peak over the fence now and then to try and steal some of their tricks!”
The quaint facility boasts two barns, arena, hot walker, round pen, turn outs, and pasture space, with plans for an additional training track in the future. Regarding the transition, Bud notes,”I would like to thank Veronica Deans for the opportunity to train out of her beautiful facility for the past year, however I am excited to consolidate my training operation and look forward to walking out my back door and going to work (doing what I love,) each morning.”
Visitors are always welcome.
